Major upgrade of our IRC network

We have now upgraded all of our servers to the latest version of Unreal IRCd (3.2.2) and we are proud to tell you that all our servers now support SSL connections on port 7000
|

The UnderMind Network are on the virge of a huge security update :)
We are about to implement SSL and to use Certificates for all mailadresses and servers.

We have just got the word that N0BRaiN will soon be a father not only to us, but to a real child :) We wish you and your family all the best in the future, and hopefully we will see N0BRaiN Junior as the inheritor to UnderMind IRC Network. I'm sure that he/she will have the same positive effect on the network as N0BRaiN has.
So now you know, when N0BRaiN is screaming and then suddenly disappeared, his wife has probably got into labour :P And when he is especially cranky on the mornings, his newborn son/daughter has probably been up all night screaming for daddy N0BRaiN 's effection :)

Damn it's depressing.... It's 9:30pm, and I know I should be in bed right now to be able to get up in the morning. And all you feel is lonelyness, especially when you can hear the rain drops smashing against your windows. And in all this mess, all you can think of is; "What would you do if UnderMind didn't exist?"
IRC is not a "new invention", but on UnderMind it's special, lame asses that try to ruin the fun for everybody else, is effectively removed by the staff and their undescribable efforts for the network. For every attack that comes our way, we just grow more loyal och fight more and more as a team with the users. On UnderMind it's a social environment that is very hard to find anywhere else, it's like the first really big crush....
So come and join us and fight for a better UnderMind :)

IPv6 Ready Server(s)! irc6.undermind.net

Well it's finally done!
The first server to support IPv6 has come online. :)
And more to come!:D
The first official server is lindnet6.eu.se.undermind.net and may also be accessed with the "collective IPv6 IRC name" irc6.undermind.net
This is made possible with the dedication of our beloved staff and their tireless efforts!
